BEST (Business Enterprise Startup Training) provides Lewis County entrepreneurs free access to comprehensive, online, on-demand business startup training. Offered in partnership with the Thurston Economic Development Council’s Center for Business & Innovation, BEST courses cover business planning, licensing, branding, marketing, intellectual property, and accounting basics.

Gary Stamper Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations to

Taylor Schwartz

Congratulations to Taylor Schwartz of Mossyrock High School on being awarded the 2026 Gary Stamper Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. Taylor is the valedictorian of her class, maintains a 4.0 GPA, and has been accepted to Centralia College to pursue a career in elementary education. We wish Taylor continued success as she begins this exciting new chapter.
